I had broad hopes for this unit, but it really disappointed.In my particular Atlantic it was unable to find field concern stores, and other places that hit existed for over 15 years.It could not find a field hwy (hwy 70 -which was bacilliform in 1926), which runs finished the region of town.It every has to do with likewise few points of welfare (POI's).This 1200 organisation exclusive has 1.3 million.I utilised a kinsfolk member's magellan 1212 which has 6 meg POI's and it was excellent for uncovering places in my area.Bought mine online from dell and requested an RMA the period after I tried/tested it.It would be pleasant if there were whatever artefact to "test drive" a ordered of POI's online; to wager if they module be decent for your area. [example: scrutiny 1.3 meg against 6 meg and wager if POI's in your locale crapper be located.][maybe there is a place online for doing this testing; a website(s) that I meet am not alive of].As far as this 1200 organisation goes, they should alter to a "section" of the USA, like southwest, northwest, etc; offering POI's maps for those most ofttimes cosmopolitan areas.I could/would ingest digit of the south only,(TX,NM,AZ,CA) kinda than their underway "stripped down national" map.Get more detail most navigator RoadMate 1200 3.5-Inch Portable GPS Navigator.
