Im a Truck utility and the TND is Not Trucker Approved! I've been using the Garmin 760 GPS for years. Then I decided to Step-up to the author McNally TND 500. That was the poorest decision possible! Ok, I'm gonna be clean so I'll move with the prizewinning qualities of the TND...The Suction-cup increase is crack to my garmin's and the screen is a half inch large and it automatically keeps up with the miles I intend in apiece state. ok, that's it! It goes down-hill from there! So much is criminal I dont undergo where to begin! 1st the shitty maps is nowhere nearby the precision of my Garmin. On the TND you can't tell when you are forthcoming a flex until you're already in it. This is essential as the Garmin maps shows you the flex in front scaled perfectly so you crapper end if you requirement to adjust your speed. Next the ascent duty on the TND is Horrible. Unlike My Garmin, the TND does not hit a scale-bar to help you guage actualised distances on a map. If you do find a ascent take that you are comfortable with, it will exclusive stay zoomed for most 15 seconds and then regress back th the works ordered level.
