I desired a base and affordable GPS. It is doing a great job. I did hesitate between this edition and the 140S which spells the study of the street instead of meet locution 'turn right', but so far I don't think I requirement the S option, and the study of the street is cursive on the screen. Also it doesn't hit real-time reciprocation report (and this is not a liberated service anyway even if your GPS crapper verify it) it does hit whatever noesis of typical reciprocation at given time, like google transpose by example. However, the real-time could be pleasant for construction works. Itès rattling cushy to ingest on the fly.When I prototypal got it, I plugged it to my computer, went on TomTom website to download their trainer and did a clump of updates. It is andante but it is working. Also TomTom has a great toll for transpose update. Instead of stipendiary $100 to buy digit new transpose per assemblage you clear $40 to intend 4 updates per year...If you are like me and meet requirement base GPS function for random or pass trip, i.e. where timing is not an issue this is perfect. However, if you are a sales rep, intend an front model and clear for the updates and real-time info.I also after trying both the 3D and 2D modes, I now ingest the 2D mode zoomed-out.Get more detail most TomTom ONE 140 3.5-Inch Portable GPS Navigator.
